I was pretty disappointed! 3 stars.One major teen character is rarely without a cigarette in his hand. While the author did follow up with the main character at the end, I wondered what happened with the other supporting characters and how everyone reacted when they discovered the truth about Elora. When it did pick up, everything was over in the blink of an eye. There wasn’t much progression until near the end. This book had a great storyline but didn’t play out well for me. Small town, everyone has a different magical power like feeling what other people feel, talking to spirits, controlling the wind, or being in two places at once. I wanted to enjoy this book much more than I did. Set right outside of New Orleans, magic, suspense, mystery, a great combination. This tiny town, where seventeen-year-old Grey spends her summers, is the self-proclaimed Psychic Capital of the World-and the place where Elora Pellerin, Grey’s best friend, disappeared six months earlier.
